Welcome to “mani moves!”   This blog was created as a Follow-Up Project for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship.  “Mani moves” means that as an undergraduate, I am making “many moves” to reach my potential as a student, professional, and individual.  Particularly these moves have been studying abroad and taking advantage of participating in internships and other valuable opportunities.

Through this blog I hope to create an interactive community in where we can share our ideas, thoughts, and opinions whether it be about studying abroad, internships, college, and much more.  Here is an excerpt from my scholarship project proposal so you can get a better understanding of what I am trying to achieve here:

“I will be integrating the impact of my experiences abroad into my project through creative visual mediums.  Utilizing the internet as a medium will help me not only mass communicate my project across campus, but also promote it in a fresh and creative way.  This blog will be started and kept while I am in London.  The purpose of the online interactive blog is to be able to fully express my experiences abroad by bringing parts of my experiences right to my target populations through my perspective lens.  I will be composing videos and photo galleries along with written components that will depict and help illustrate all of my experiences abroad.  By creating and keeping the blog during my study abroad experience gives the project a more intimate and enticing appeal.”
